Being one of the three prairie provinces in the country, Saskatchewan is the only province that doesn’t have a natural border. To the north, the province is bordered by the Northwest Territories, to the west, it is bordered to Alberta. What’s special about Saskatchewan is that it is the only province that receives sunlight for more hours. Also, the province is located far from significant water bodies. Saskatchewan has a varying climate across various regions. It has a humid climate in the central & the majority of the eastern parts of the province & semi-arid steppe climate in the southwestern part.
Although the early economy of the province was solely based on agriculture. Apart from agriculture, mining is another major industry to the point that the province being the largest exporter of potash and uranium. In the world. Forestry is a major industry in the northern parts of the province. Also, oil & natural gas production contributes a major share to the overall economy.
Saskatchewan is known for its rich mix of history and culture. The province provides visitors with water-based recreation opportunities & outdoor adventures like canoeing, horseback riding, farm vacations and much more.
